Overview

DAC Live Trading ("we," "us," "our") operates a wholesale/liquidation business and an internal staff dashboard used to run live-sale shows on marketplaces including eBay and Whatnot. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it — including data accessed through eBay's Selling APIs under our eBay Developer application.

Information We Collect

  • Site visitors: basic contact details you voluntarily submit to us (e.g. via email), and standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
  • Staff dashboard users: login credentials, account activity, and business records they enter (sales, inventory, and show data) as part of running the business.
  • eBay seller data: when an authorized staff member connects our eBay seller account via OAuth, we retrieve order, fulfillment, and listing-performance data associated with our own eBay seller account through eBay's Fulfillment and Analytics APIs — solely for our own internal reporting.

How We Use eBay API Data

Data retrieved through eBay's APIs (order totals, item counts, listing views/impressions) is used exclusively to power internal business reporting — reconciling per-show revenue, tracking net profit and margin, and monitoring listing performance. This data:

  • Is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
  • Is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.
  • Is accessible only to authorized DAC Live Trading staff through our internal, login-protected dashboard.
  • Can be disconnected at any time by an administrator, which revokes our application's access token.

Cookies

This site uses exactly one cookie: a session cookie set only when a staff member logs into the internal dashboard, strictly to keep them signed in. It's marked HttpOnly and Secure and contains no tracking or advertising data. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking pixels or scripts anywhere on this site. If you're just browsing the public site without logging in, no cookie is set at all.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes. We share data only where required to operate (e.g. our hosting provider) or where required by law.

Data Security

Access tokens and credentials are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser or to unauthorized staff. The staff dashboard is login-protected and access is limited to employees who need it to do their jobs.

Data Retention

We retain business and API-synced data for as long as needed for our internal recordkeeping and accounting. Data tied to a disconnected eBay account is retained only in already-synced historical reports; no further data is pulled after disconnection.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you, access a copy of it, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of information we're not otherwise required to retain, and opt out of any sale or sharing of your information (we don't sell or share personal information, so this is already the case). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

If you are an eBay buyer whose order touched our business and you have questions about your data, or you'd like information deleted where we're not otherwise required to retain it, contact us using the details below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
